Charles Lee (b.1926) — Navajo (Diné)

Lee had a varied career as painter, silversmith and Christian minister. He was born near Red Rock on the Navajo Reservation. He painted in the classic mid-20th style, focusing on the detail of the Navajo warrior siting aside a horse with a spare landscape and sky.
