This inspiring painting depicts the majesty of the Grand Canyon, a natural wonder that has long inspired artists. Each artist sees and therefore interprets the Grand Canyon in their own unique way. A painting of the Grand Canyon hanging in the Chicago train station in 1893 is said to have inspired the beginnings of American Southwest. It was the first piece of western art purchased the collector.
