Polychrome Jar with Feather Motif (#13)
Blue Corn (1921–1999)— San Ildefonso Pueblo

While Blue Corn began her career making black pottery she also became renowned for her distinctive style of polychrome pottery. Each piece is stone polished and then painted with various clay paints. The neck of this graceful jar is designed with a pattern of feathers.
