Balance and precision are hallmarks of well-made Acoma pottery. This wedding vessel is blessed with both, thanks to the expert hand of one of the twentieth century’s master potters. Note the precision of the line and color; all are evenly and flawlessly executed. Each element is a mirror image of the other. The two larger rounded surfaces are graced with parrots inside a wreath of flowers or clouds, while the end panels are depict clouds, rain, and green growth.
